Black raised pine needles adorn the body of the teapot while the finial on the lid is the shape of a pine cone. The color is a true pine needle green. Tetsubins are usually decorated with geometric, organic, or animal patterns. This tetsubin represents the organic design drawn from nature. Made of cast iron, the interior of this teapot is enamel coated and includes a removable stainless steel mesh infuser. This teapot is manufactured by Iwachu, in the Iwate region of Japan.
