A plump, pumpkin shaped teapot serves as a reminder of crisp autumn days when harvest crops are gathered. Everything about this teapot is realistic ... from the sturdy stem finial to the ribbed gourd shell exterior. Tetsubins are usually decorated with geometric, organic, or animal patterns. This tetsubin represents the organic design drawn from nature. Made of cast iron, the interior of this teapot is enamel coated and includes a removable stainless steel mesh infuser. This teapot is manufactured by Nanbu Iron Studio of Japan.
