Today, a 200 year old Polish tradition is carried out by skilled artisans who handcraft and handpaint each stoneware item with the same pride and care used over a century ago. Created in the oldest ceramics workshop in Boleslawiec, Poland, all Bunzlauer stoneware is distinguished by its captivating designs in cobalt blue and earth tones. The iridescent eye markings are inspired by peacock feathers and the large blue eyespots are arranged to depict patterns that are distinctive to the Silesian region. This 32 ounce teapot has a locking lid, an in-spout strainer, and a four-finger handle grasp. Created from white clay, this stoneware teapot is extremely durable. Two 8 ounce mugs complete your tea set. Each piece proudly displays the artisan's initials and the unique Saklady back stamp. Since each item is an individual creation, no two pieces are exactly alike.
