PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
An Irish tea set in a delicate cream color. The teapot, creamer and sugar bowl all have the authentic "honey comb" design. A symbol of hard work bringing just rewards ... like the work of a busy bee when it produces golden honey. The two mugs have a "link" design which is symbolic of the eternal link to those who left the homestead to sail away to lands afar. If you have been to the Aran Isles, off the coast of Galway, Ireland, you will appreciate the warm, homey feeling of this tea set. Many of the people who live there are descended from fishermen. The island is famous for the sweaters the wives would knit for their fishermen husbands. It is this old tradition which inspires the designs of this tea set. All Aranware items are heirloom earthenware quality and designed for use in the microwave & dishwasher.
