The tray has scalloped edges with a pink ribbon woven around it and a silver inscription of "Little Princess". This royal collection includes a teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, two teacups & saucers, and an 8" serving tray, all presented in a divine keepsake box. The storage box, which is unique to Mud Pie (the set's manufacturer), has pink and white strips on the outside and a satin ribbon handle. The inside is lined with ivory satin and is form fitted to protect the teaset when it is not in use. We think this set is appropriate for children 3-8 years old. All surfaces are finished so the set is safe to use with food.
